Chanukah (Hanukkah) commemorates the re-dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem after a group of Jewish warriors defeated the occupying mighty Greek armies. Today we commemorate this historical event by rededicating our lives, our “Temples” to God and enjoying delicious fried foods and joyous festivities.
